Supplier: Nedspice
Turmeric is available whole, cracked and ground.
Turmeric is the rhizome of a ginger-like plant. The harvest starts when the stems begin to fade, about ten months after planting. During the curing process the product loses about three quarters of its original weight. Turmeric is usually available ground, as a bright yellow, fine powder. Nedspice sources sustainable turmeric through their own sustainable sourcing program Nedspice Farmers Partnership Program (NFPP) in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, India. Turmeric is available whole, cracked and ground. The minimum order volume is a pallet per product.
